President of Pathways to College Shares How After-School Program Achieves 100% College Admission Rate

Offers national master class in preparing students of color for success

McGraw Education Prize Winner Judith Berry Griffin, founder and president of Pathways to College, led a national keynote about the unique after-school program’s 100 percent college admissions rate for seniors.

Pathways to College helps students of color develop the critical thinking skills and habits of mind for college admission and success. The program selects high school Scholars based on potential, not necessarily proven performance.

During the event, Griffin explained unique strategies for identifying student potential, the values shared by students and staff, how the program nurtures student talent, program outcomes, and student and teacher perceptions.

An overview of the full video will be available soon.
