A PATHWAYS SHINING STAR
Jaroly, a sophomore at East Side High School, resides in Newark, NJ. She currently is enrolled in a full Honors schedule and works hard to maintain her high GPA. She particularly enjoys her Geometry courses and loves English because she likes to express her opinions. She also enjoys Socratic seminars.
Jaroly is a dependable and valued Pathways to College Scholar, consistently participating in all discussions and activities. Her essay, “Nothing’s Impossible,” was selected for publication in the 2017 edition of Scholar Voices, the Literary Magazine of Pathways to College, making her a published author. An active member of East Side’s Pan African American Association, Jaroly has demonstrated leadership in both Pathways to College and in her school.
Jaroly's goal is working on important issues that affect the world. She is particularly interested in the area of social justice.
